Rules of procedure

Before arriving at the gîte :

It is compulsory to indicate the presence of your pet when booking.

The number of pets allowed is limited to 2 per villa.

At the landlord’s request, the tenant must be able to provide the following information:

  • Proof of insurance
  • The animal’s identification and vaccination certificate.
  • Up-to-date rabies vaccination.

An inventory of fixtures is carried out with the tenant on entering the gîte.

A special rate applies for the presence of pet(s) (to be specified when booking): 20 euros/night/pet for a one-night stay. 10 euros/night/pet for stays of more than one night.

A dog bowl and toilet bag kit will be given to pet owners on arrival.

During your stay :

  • No pets may be left unattended in the gîte.
  • Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
  • Comforters or blankets must not be used for pets.
  • You must bring your own blankets for the beds and sofas your pets are likely to use.
  • Tenants are required to pick up after their pets at all times.
  • We understand that material accidents do happen. Please let us know so that we can assess the need for repair or replacement, if possible, before we take out our respective insurance policies.
  • The gîte must be left clean by the tenant, who must pay particular attention to the presence of hair so as not to leave traces for future holidaymakers who may be allergic.
  • The tenant is responsible for his animal and any disturbance caused. In the event of persistent nuisance, the gîte owner can contact the town hall, police station or gendarmerie.
  • The law of July 9, 1970 makes the presence of pets conditional on the absence of damage to the property and disturbance to the occupants.
  • In the event of excessive barking or damage, the rental period may be terminated.
  • In accordance with article L211-12, attack dogs (1st category) are not allowed, and in all cases, a muzzle must be worn at all times inside the gîte for 2nd category dogs) or any other animal likely to be dangerous.

These rules must be signed by all pet owners on arrival at the gîte.
The owner reserves the right to terminate the rental in the event of non-compliance with any of the points in these rules and regulations.
